Description: This layer presents information related to Functional Class, ICAPS Access Management, and Federal Aid routed within Idaho. The data was created by combining (Union) three featureclasses into a single dataset.The combined Functional Class layer was created by unioning three datasets into a single dataset. The source data includes:1) AccessControl)IC_20120901 – ICAPS data provided by David Coladner via Maranda Obray on October 7, 20132) B03 FederalAid – Federal Aid routes provided by Maranda Obray on October 7, 2013. 3) FC_Current – Functional Class layer from Maranda Obrey sent via email on November 1, 2013. ITD data source unclear. Last known ITD location: \\ITDHQTSPC215627\C$\Warehouses\Network Manager Shape Files\B08 Functional ClassAttribute tables were exported from each featureclass into geodatabase tables. Tables were then combined using the overlay Route Events geoprocessing tool. Finally, the combined table was used as a route event against RoadsRoutes (LRS) Linear Referencing System layer dated June 28, 2013.Additional Information- FC_Current was modified from it's original version. The functional classes were modified as followes: 1, 11 = 1 (Interstate) 12 = 2 (Other Freeway or Expressway) 2, 14 = 3 (Other Principal Arterial) 6, 16 = 4 (Minor Arterial) 7, 17 = 5 (Major Collector) 8 = 6 (Minor Collector) 9 , 19 (Local).
