Description: Federal Rail Road Administration Office of Safety Analyis (http://safetydata.fra.dot.gov/OfficeofSafety/publicsite/Downloaddbf.aspx) The most current Highway-Rail Crossing Inventory for each State is available for download. Typically, these State files run anywhere from 20KB to 1.2 MB in size. The entire National Inventory is available in three separate downloadble files. There is a file of all current Public-at-Grade crossings (~10 MB .EXE file expands to about 118 MB). There is a file of all current Private and grade-separated crossings (~5 MB .EXE file expands to about 105 MB). There is also a file which contains about 10 years of archival records for all types of crossings (~20 MB .EXE file expands to about 375 MB). Please take these file sizes into consideration before attempting to download them!
